- Confer each morning with all Supervisors to determine departmental staffing needs/assignments.
- Calculate Billing Information based on available resources.
- Assign employees to work areas within Production to achieve a balanced workload.
- Maintain a balanced workload throughout Production by taking several reading throughout the day, adjusting/reassigning personnel as needed, preparing "line-ups" for each wave, and calculating projected time of completion.
- Utilize various reports, summaries and procedures as necessary to resolve problems that Piece Pickers, Stockers, and Case Pickers may encounter throughout the day.
- Perform daily Tray and Invoice Audits.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervision/Management.
- Review Start-up information with Production Supervisors prior to shift commencement.
- Present area Start-up Meeting at shift commencement in an organized and timely manner.
- Assist Supervisors in the distribution of paychecks, vacation slips, and productivity related information, and other material/information as necessary.
- Call stores to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Coordinate daily Reach Truck activities.
- Ability to cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by Management.
- Ability to read and write.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Good communication skills; i.e. listening, verbal and written skills.
- Good inter-personal skills.
- Physical Demands: This position has a frequent-medium heavy lifting requirement of 1 - 20 lbs, 34-66% of time. Occasional very heavy lifting requirement of up to 75 lbs, 0-33% of time. Other physical activities include constant bending/reaching/stooping, (67-100%). Constant walking/standing climbing (67-100%).
- Work Environment : Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment and conveyors.
- Previous warehouse experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Successful completion of the CVS Pre-S.I.T. program.Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$17.00 - $31.30This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
