As the Senior Manager, Retail Omnichannel Strategy, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and evolution of our omnichannel strategy, with a particular focus on the Front Store and integration points with the retail pharmacy and the enterprise. Additionally, you will support your Lead Director and Executive Director in activities that drive team operations and team success (coordinating business reviews, executive leader meeting preparation, team on-sites, learning series, etc). You will be required to collaborate with various stakeholders including pharmacy strategy counterparts, legal, regulatory, clinical, digital product, digital engineering, store operations, the retail field organization, data and analytics partners, marketing, IT teams, and senior leaders within retail and across the enterprise.Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning (40%)
  • Partner with Lead and Executive Director to develop short- and long-term strategy for retail omnichannel.
  • Identifying new opportunities to join forces with pharmacy and enterprise initiatives to drive overall Lifetime Value of our customer base.
  • Leverages thought partners (Senior leaders, corporate partners, peers, team, etc.) as needed to create and revisit the omnichannel strategy.
  • Develops and nurtures strong relationships with cross functional partners including pharmacy strategy counterparts, legal, regulatory, clinical, digital product, digital engineering, store operations, the retail field organization, data and analytics partners, marketing and voice of customer partners.
  • Analyzes and informs team of competitive landscape; Shares insights by reading articles, studying competitor offerings, and understanding market trends.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build out test case frameworks, lead financial modeling and business case development, set clear KPIs, gain executive stakeholder alignment and ensure smooth execution.
  • Assigns appropriate timelines and accountabilities for items, empowering the team to drive action steps to completion.
  • Aligns the teams to establish, update and maintain a clear set of actions including interdependencies needed to achieve overall goals.
  • Navigates ambiguity and remain nimble to change to achieve goals despite potential obstacles.
Delivers Results (30%)
  • Drives strategic initiatives and KPI performance.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build out pilot frameworks, financial modeling, and business case development; will set clear KPI's for each.
  • Act as general insights manager of core ecomm channels - offer input and KPI analysis to help drive growth for channels, provide insights on margin and YTG guidance for reforecasting based on promo events and offers.
  • Analyzes overall core ecomm business across channels, understanding shrink impact and mitigation opportunities.
  • Manages project level success, including analyzing results, forecasting, and developing mitigation plans to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Support Lead Director and Executive Director in managing projects, supporting administrivia, and being the trusted advisor to provide stats & insights share with internal executives on a regular or ad hoc cadence.
  • Overseeing cross-functional projects, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion
  • Filtering information, communicating key decisions to relevant stakeholders, and drafting communications for Lead Director and Executive Director
  • Creating engaging material (slides, excel, doc, etc) that supports clear and concise business updates for internal partners, executive leadership, and occasionally external partners/vendors.
Drive Innovation (15%)
  • Identify new opportunities to join forces with pharmacy and enterprise initiatives to drive overall Lifetime Value of our customer base.
  • Manage ad hoc business case development and opportunity sizing.
  • Identify and maintain omnichannel and enterprise strategic partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities to showcase omnichannel offerings to internal corporate teams and to external customer base through partnership with marketing.
  • Work with analytics to synthesize complex data, including store level and customer level detail and category performance and voice of customer data to form actionable insights that accelerate business growth.
Champion for Culture (15%)
  • Leadership: Providing guidance, direction, and support to teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.
  • Participates with onboarding tasks for new hires; builds, maintains, and enhances all onboarding documentations. In addition, teaches the intangibles of what is user experience, how it impacts our business and how to identify the work needed to be done to achieve financial goals.
  • Partner with Executive Director to support overall team leadership development, including scheduling engagement activities and coordinating development exercises that ensure development and mentorship of next generation of leadership talent.
  • Creates a culture centered on inclusion and well-being.
  • Promotes a high-performance culture by clearly setting goals and expectations.
  • Leverages existing enterprise tools, such as talent profiles and enterprise development programs, to develop talent.
  • Establishes and enforces policies and procedures that promote ethical behavior, compliance, and best practices
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge / skill / ability:
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience collaborating with business partners to design a business strategy, creating strategy documents/presentations, and gaining alignment from executive leadership on strategic direction.
  • Experience in onsite merchandising, digital product management, or related field, especially in a consumer-focused, multiple product category e-commerce sites
  • Understanding of retail financial metrics
  • Comfortable mining large data sets for directional data. Experience with ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Advanced Excel, Power Point.
  • Regular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leader.
  • Any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
  • Travel- Ability, and willingness, to travel regularly, 10% of time, based on needs of the business.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Consulting background guiding businesses on how to design and execute and business strategy
  • 8+ years' experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, omni-channel retail planning or related field, especially in a multi consumer-focused, multiple product category e-commerce sites
  • Experience using Tableau, or a similar site analytics platform.
  • Advanced experience in Excel / pivot tables for data manipulation
  • Experience working as a financial planner, managing a P&L .
  • Demonstrated ability to understand not only business KPIs and initiatives, but also possess a deep understanding of the technical backend and be able to participate in project release and business requirement documentation
  • Experience influencing without authority.
  • Strategic thinker complemented with ability to develop and communicate unsolicited ideas / direction
  • Passion for omnichannel development and how new offerings and capabilities can meaningfully drive engagement, empowerment, and the overall consumer experience in health care
  • Advanced degree

The typical pay range for this role is:$75,400.00 - $199,144.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
