As a Reasonable Accommodation Case Manager, you will be responsible for the follow-through and resolution of enterprise-wide Reasonable Accommodation (RA) requests. This role will allow you to monitor complex, sensitive cases, identify trends, training opportunities, influence and guide key stakeholders. When necessary, you will partner with HR, senior leadership and legal to mitigate any potential risk to the company by ensuring compliance for a wide range of activities related to Reasonable Accommodations.

In this role, you will review and distribute case work to a Sr. Analyst based on complexity and specific business unit; as well as provide training and guidance on case management. You will manage higher level, more complex case work. Qualified candidates located near a CVS Hub will need to work in a Hybrid capacity. Remote candidates will be considered if residence is greater than 25 miles from a CVS Hub. Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and follow through as well as ensure all company policies are followed, and provide advice and support on interpretation, application and compliance of the ADA, applicable State and Federal laws.
- Provide support and direction to a Sr. Analyst on difficult or complex reasonable accommodation cases to ensure consistency in handling and in line with company practice and policy.
- Partner with, and influence appropriate business partners to include, HR, senior leadership, legal and other partners when necessary.
- Leverage technology, tools and resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of reasonable accommodation case managers.
- Assess and manage complex, high-risk cases and escalate when appropriate.
- Partner and collaborate with HR, compliance, third party vendors, legal and others as needed.
- Identify trends and opportunities, develop and deliver RA training materials to appropriate leadership teams and business units.
- Champion and promote a positive colleague experience.
- Analyze and provide input and recommendations on process improvement to ensure an efficient and effective RA process
- Engage as a subject matter expert on RA with Colleague Relations and Leave of Absence teams
- Educate colleagues on appropriate self-service tools and other available resources
- 5+ years of experience in employee relations and/or human resources
- Experience assisting employees/applicants with accommodation requests, familiarity with FMLA, knowledge of statues, regulations and guidance issued by the EEOC pertaining to ADA accommodations
- Leave of Absence (LOA) and Reasonable Accommodations experience
- Strong problem solver, ability to create and provide meaningful solutions, applying good judgment and influence as need; understanding the ambiguous areas
- Excellent decision-making skills (optimally gather and analyze facts, weigh risks) and make recommendations that are right for the business, the people and culture
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and plan time/resources accordingly, in a fast-paced high-pressured environment
- Highly collaborative
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and learn quickly
- Ability to interact, partner and influence effectively with all levels of organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills including expertise in conflict management, investigation, negotiation and influencing
- Sound ability to deal with conflict situations in a rational and constructive manner
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree; equivalent work experience may substitute

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
