The Health Equity team will be expanding on equity-based initiatives and also community based member events and towards this we are looking for a Manager to collaborates with key cross-functional teams and execute on community event management and initiative implementation.

  • Conducts qualitative and quantitative research and identifies evidence-based practices to help drive the life cycle of community-facing program design.
  • Builds PPT slides and promotional copy for external messaging/outlets
  • Executes a portfolio of administrative tasks to support project implementation with a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Leads and oversees planning, execution, and successful completion of identified project responsibilities for the Medicare Stars and Health Equity team. This includes defining scope, objectives, timelines, and managing allocated budgets/resources
  • Ensures quality and consistency by monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing issues and risks, and adjusting project plans as necessary.
  • Engages with project stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, community organizations and local markets, to understand project requirements, manage expectations, and ensure effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. This includes working with legal, compliance partners, community affairs and markets in a cross-matrixed organization
  • Evaluates resource allocation and develops change management plans and strategies to minimize resistance and ensure successful adoption.
  • Prepares and delivers project progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensures project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements by working with compliance, legal and local market leadership as needed.
  • Coordinates with internal and external business partners to provide leadership, functional advice, and training as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years working on community-led programs conducting outreach, focus groups, and working with stakeholder groups.
  • 3-5 years conducting meta-analysis and qualitative/quantitative research on health-related topics utilizing a variety of institutional and academic sources.
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience working in a highly matrixed environment executing multiple administrative responsibilities on deadline with high-level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: Health equity, Population Health, Public policy, Community organizing and Advocacy or Non-profit management
  • Experience gathering feedback from community stakeholders and using it to inform programmatic practices.
  • Successful execution of community and member events, networking internally with multiple stakeholders and launching innovative programming to better engage with members.
Preferred Qualifications

Over 2+ years experience with community event planning and member engagement strategies.
Bachelors degree or equivalent in public health or related field

Experience with managing clinical or health equity or member specific initiatives or managing event planning for membersEducation

Post secondary /high school education or specialized training, i.e., technical/vocational programs.Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
