They keep applications, systems, networks and processes up and running so employees, members, providers and plan sponsors stay connected with needed tools and information.Support and facilitate upkeep of business systems which meet business needs, SLA's and opportunities by integrating information, business process, monitoring and technology in a cost effective, timely manner.Under general supervision, formulates and supports system objectives through research and fact-finding to ensure systems are up and running 24X7. Maintains detailed specifications from which programs were written. Tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs. Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.Responsibilities:Independently conduct application/ product system analysis and L1, L2 programming activities (participates in the development of new and/or reuses existing code through the use of program development software and/or integrates purchased solutions).

With limited direction, translates business queries into technical actionable(s)

Support technical designs for a new application or enhancements, including integration of purchased solutions.

Performs ongoing system maintenance, research, problem resolution and on- call support, according to defined plans or documentation for existing systems.
Is able to quickly ascertain prescribed methodology and maintain strict compliance with all required artifacts.

Independently performs testing or reviews, according to detailed plans to ensure high-quality systems.

Supports and promotes the reuse of assets across the organization.

Independently works on multiple projects and/or SRs and actively participates as a member of each project team supporting an application or set of applications.

Independently works on small and large moderately complex teams that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and disciplines, that have system wide impact and that may integrate across the organization.Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience working in a production support role.

2+ years of experience with either. Net or java.Preferred qualifications: Capable of recognizing how impacts to business process or requirements would translate to necessary application changes to an application or set of applications and has a basic understanding of interfacing systems.Expertise in one or more programming language, development tools, and/or databases and the systems development life cycle, applicable to development organization

1+ years of healthcare consultation experience working with government services.Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$72,100.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
