The mission of the Pharmacy Professional Practice Team is to ensure the level of pharmacy practice exhibited by our pharmacy teams meets or exceeds the standards and expectations set by government regulators, payers, business partners and most importantly - our patients. The Pharmacy Regulations and Compliance Analyst, will work in an exciting and fast paced corporate environment, conducting the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the execution of Pharmacy Regulatory Compliance across 9k Retail locations; designed to monitor, review and address adherence to applicable laws and professional standards set by regulatory bodies. Additionally, this role will assist in managing all components of Retail DEA and other federal regulatory agency audits and interactions.The Pharmacy Regulations and Compliance Analyst position's primary responsibilities and job duties are to review, perform analytics, and interpret information located on pharmacy documents (controlled substance and non) that are maintained at our CVS retail locations to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and CVS policy requirements. The Pharmacy Regulations and Compliance Analyst is responsible for reviewing pharmacy documents utilizing a Pharmacy Professional Practice Regulatory Review Dashboard and monitoring completion and reporting of Electronic Controlled Substance Inventory Coversheets. The daily work of the analyst will also involve the utilization and individual interpretation of the data from the CVS CIIM (Central Invoice and Inventory Management Portal) system as well as a creating and sending exemption reporting to both the store and field teams regarding compliance. Analysts will need to follow up with pharmacy teams to ensure documents are received and properly executed in accordance with policies. This position will liaison and collaborate with stores, legal, pharmacy operations, and field management regarding compliance objectives.Additional responsibilities will include tracking, monitoring, and assisting with the resolution of requests from government agencies, including but not limited to DEA, FBI, Attorney Generals, and Police Departments. The analyst will be trained on all areas of DEA/Federal Agency audits/interactions and support.

This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. The individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as the position will require frequent interaction with pharmacy teams, field leaders, and DEA/federal agents via phone and email. The position requires a dynamic person that has the ability for independent thinking and recommendations related to data interpretation.Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • 1+ years in a role with competing priorities
  • 1+ years gathering and interpreting data and presenting insights/finding
  • 1+ years working cross functionally
  • Ability to work well both as a team and independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred
  • 1+ year in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician (Tech I or Tech II)

The typical pay range for this role is:$21.10 - $44.99This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
