This position processes unemployment claims filed by current and former employees. Details regarding the reason for separation are gathered, analyzed and then submitted to state unemployment agencies via the unemployment vendor's claims management system.

The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
- Research and analyze employment and wage data, determine issues involved, summarize the facts and submit them electronically to our TPA (Third Party Administrator) in the required format.
- Review and verify the accuracy of state agency decisions and work with Manager to determine advisability of appealing adverse determinations.
- Write appeals or rebuttals when determinations are contrary to state law and pursue beyond the first review level.
- Act as liaison between the Unemployment Team, CVS Health personnel and our Third Party Administrator.
- Stay current with unemployment claims law, company policies and procedures, company payroll systems and corporate structure as it relates to unemployment claims and tax-related issuesRequired Qualifications
- 2+ years of claims management experience

- Strong decision making skills and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate accurately, clearly and professionally (oral, written and listening)
- Ability to function in a high volume, production-oriented, time-sensitive environment
- Sense of urgency in daily job performance
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with CVS Health colleagues and the claims management vendor
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working with WorkdayEducation

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree (can be substituted with 8+ years of equivalent work experience)
- Bachelor degree preferred Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$43,888.00 - $93,574.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
