Provides routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers.

- Services Automated Dispensing Units located in institutional residential facilities to include restocking, replacing pending expired, auditing and trouble shooting.
- Installs best of class pharmacy services to ensure that the appropriate drug products reach the customer both efficiently and safely.
- Confirms that the pharmacy follows all local, state, and federal rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.
- Checks for appropriateness of therapy through prospective drug utilization reviews including assessment for appropriateness of therapy, elevated risk medications, allergies, adverse indications or interactions, and other potentially adverse outcomes.
- Advises senior management of the proper ordering, counting, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances.
- Conducts advanced inventory reviews to inspect out of date product and monthly cycle counts for the company machines.
- Facilitates onboarding and removes automation equipment, including the setting of drawers, dividers, and any necessary labeling of the units in the pharmacy.
- Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes and provides functional (matrix) supervision
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
- Pharmacy Degree and Mississippi Pharmacist Registration required.

The typical pay range for this role is:$45.43 - $76.15This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
