This position will play a critical role in shaping the customer experience across 7,000+ stores. This position is instrumental in delivering the best products and promotions to our customers by leveraging strong analytical skills to evaluate sales trends, identify opportunities, and optimize merchandising strategies.The ideal candidate can not only identify complex problems but also implement solutions and drive strategic changes across their category of responsibility, as well as support larger business unit/front store challenges outside their assigned category. Candidates should be able to clearly present to Senior Category Manager and DMM leadership. A successful ACM will leverage strong prioritization skills to proactively anticipate the market and take calculated, well-supported risks to grow CVS/category market share while balancing P&L financial impacts.Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the business support team including Pricing Analysts, Promotional Assistants, Merchandise Planners, Inventory Planners, Financial Planners, Store Operations, and Category Planogram Designers to achieve the merchandising objectives as it relates to the CVS Strategic plan.
- Search out new, competitive opportunities within the assigned categories and drive the business to ensure an industry-leading position for CVS.
- Achieve market share growth by developing Annual Category Business Plans (1-3-5 years out) and implementing category strategic plans, including weekly, seasonal, and annual merchandising programs to deliver industry-leading results.
- Drive the product review and planning process, initiating and executing marketing plans for weekly and seasonal marketing programs, maintaining positive trade relations, and developing strategic alliances.
- 3+ years of experience in a retail organization working in an analytical role.
- 1+ years of advanced Excel experience.
- Must be open to travel up to 10%.
- Previous retail experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of spreadsheet and database software.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- GMROI analysis experience is a plus.
- Experience or working knowledge of IRI or Nielsen market data.
- Familiarity with planogram tools is a plus.

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
