CVS Health is seeking a Manager - Software Development Engineering to manage a blended Front End and Back End development team supporting PBM Automated Voice Technology, while also supervising the deliverables of technical staff. Specifically, this role will entail managing a team responsible for designing, planning, and implementing all IT enhancements, upgrades, and major projects, including the management of external resources (onshore & offshore) in achieving those objectives. This Manager Manager should have a solid, hands-on technical background while also having a proven track record in managing and motivating people. Your ability to have a self-starter attitude, strong problem-solving skill & experience, and a commitment to excellence will be critical to your success.Expectations for the Role:

  • Have a solid understanding of continuous integration, deployment, and operations concepts
  • Develop and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by senior management
  • Working independently in formulating innovative ideas and solutions on products, processes, and systems
  • Have prior experience in Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) at an enterprise level
  • Knowledge and experience leading enterprise Agile development teams
  • Knowledge and experience with Conversational AI technologies design and implementation. Preferably Microsoft/Nuance line of products
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting or managing Software Development projects with at least 2 years of experience as a team lead of a voice application development team
  • 5+ years working within an Agile environment
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft/Nuance Technologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Compliance - Understanding remediating Application code and OS vulnerabilities
  • Comfortability in handling high visible, critical projects
  • Experience in executing projects in using conversational AI as the development paradigm
  • Prior experience in in PBM Systems, preferably at CVS
  • Ability to manage many projects/efforts simultaneously

The typical pay range for this role is:$92,700.00 - $185,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
