As a Specialty Pharmacy Operations Advisor, you will be responsible for providing an enhanced level of service for our internal and external clients. Furthermore, you will provide operations support with the goal of finding and fixing efficiencies, increasing satisfaction and service where opportunities are available. You will also work with all areas of Specialty Operations to assist in maintaining performance standards and ensuring that services provided are client and patient focused along with demonstrating a high level of quality for client service through accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism in all interactions.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with the pharmaceutical manufacturer and hub to provide Pharmacy Operations Support
• Direct, daily communication with the Hub to receive and respond to pharmacy operations related inquiries and issues
• Provide same day assistance with patient and/or prescriber outreach to Hub for select Hub identified cases
• Provide cross-site support for the Product through coordination with all CVS specialty pharmacy dispensing locations including CarePlus to ensure same day shipping of the product (if same day shipping need identified before 3pm EST) when required for urgent cases
• Work with internal partners to ensure efficiency and proper handling of patients and clients
• Assist with coordinating status updates and pull through with CarePlus on referrals sent to specialty for fulfillment
• When requested, develop concierge relationship with prescriber offices serving as the single point of contact with a direct line to the prescriber office
• Facilitate meetings with key stake holders
• Facilitate and improve relations between Prescriber and Pharma
• Occasional travel may be required to meet with Hub and Manufacturer on a quarterly basis to conduct business review.
The successful candidate will interact with internal business partners at a senior and management level to clarify requirements and business needs for changes and enhancements. You also must have the ability to prioritize tasks to meet business needs, including prioritizing the work of others on the team, when needed.

- 5-8 years of Specialty Pharmacy Operations experience including experience with Specialty therapies and health products, independent decision making, overseeing flow of work, and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong presentation skills; good ability to leverage MS PowerPoint.
- Strong ability to communicate systems and procedural changes to end users through excellent written and oral communications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of therapy specific information
- Strong drug classification background and general drug knowledge
- Knowledge of plan attributes relating to conflicts on member plans.
- Benefit Verification experience; BV experience and supervisory experience preferred
- Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated success using interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to provide customer service and influence business partners
- Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures, and principles of therapy specific information
- Drug classification background and general drug knowledge

The typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
