Position Summary
This position will play a key role in the review, creation, analysis and reporting of financial information on a GAAP basis to support management decision making, communication to internal or external stakeholders, evaluation of risk and maintenance of accounting and internal control related policies for the Individual Family Plans (IFP) teams. Will be a contact for new and ongoing projects related to new product offerings and system enhancements. This role will be accountable to the HCB CFO, Commercial/Markets VP, VP HCB Controller, and VP Operational Integrity & Prod, along with other internal and external customers.
NOTE: This manger will report to the office at least 2x a week.
Job Responsibilities in IFP Finance
Monthly close procedures for IFP businesses
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Provide accurate and timely financial analysis
Prepare more complex account reconciliations
Coordinate accounting matters with other departments
Participate in projects as necessary
Required Qualifications
5-8 years in finance or accounting
Experience leading a team or project
BA Degree and or relevant equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Policies (GAAP)
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Experience with Oracle general ledger
Database creation/management
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
