In the role of Manager - Application Developer at CVS Health, you will be a pivotal member of our development team, interfacing with key stakeholders and applying your technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes engaging in Requirements Elicitation, Design, and Development. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, as you will help the team produce high-quality code deliverables for specific modules. You will also lead validation efforts for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting techno-functional impact analysis, as well as design and code construction activities associated with the development of software releases for the Omnicare business systems. Your strong technical, functional, and interpersonal skills will be essential for success in this role. The current suite of systems includes multiple Tier 1 applications. You will collaborate closely with the development manager, product management/owners, architects, quality assurance/testing teams, developers, and project managers to drive business change and innovation within our .NET-based business applications. Your involvement will span the entire development life cycle of a product, requiring you to deliver efficient solutions while identifying and mitigating any risks prior to deployment in production and supporting the applications afterwards. You will also play a significant role in customer interfacing, ensuring that project delivery aligns with client expectations.   • 5+ years of professional IT experience
  • 3+ years of .NET experience, including ASP.NET, MVC, Webforms, Razor pages and C# or VB.NET
  • 3+ years of software development and requirement analysis, design experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Visual Studio, .NET, T-SQL and PL/SQL development
  • Development experience for projects delivered via Agile, Waterfall, and/or SAFe methodologies
  • .NET Core experience including Web API, Entity Framework, and Dependency Injection
  • API design patterns experience (REST - XML, JSON)
  • Knowledge in Azure cloud, specifically Azure App Services and Function Apps
  • Proven track record of writing clean, high-quality, high-performing, scalable code
  • Experience as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in understanding business requirements and translating them into software solutions
  • Production Support experience handling support tickets, change and off hour application support during maintenance and release activities as and when required
Additional Responsibilities:

Education:

The typical pay range for this role is:$83,430.00 - $166,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
