We are seeking a highly skilled and results driven Lead Director to lead the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) team within the Enterprise Procurement department. The Lead Director will lead a strategic team that advises, influences, and enables outcomes that support strategy, transform work, and enable people across Enterprise Procurement teams while providing specialized expertise on data and analytics. The Lead Director will be responsible for developing a Procurement analytics strategy based on data, research, knowledge and insightful analytics that drive Procurement effectiveness, cost savings, and strategic value across the organization.Job Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive CoE strategy to support the broader departmental and organizational goals
- Drive enriched data refinement and enhanced analytics on $12B+ in addressable spend across 10+ data sources; including the commoditization of spend, creation of actionable profiles and dashboards, analysis of spending behaviors and demand, and development of KPI and trend analyses
- Clearly articulate and present findings to senior and executive leadership
- Develop and maintain control monitoring dashboards to measure effectiveness of Procurement activities, track cost savings, monitor performance against policies, and control spending across the enterprise
- Develop a framework to support Procurement's involvement in enterprise initiatives. Support includes baseline analysis, data modeling, savings analysis and tracking, and development of PPTs for senior leadership updates
- Partner with Procurement leaders to identify cross-function improvement opportunities, including better data management and structure, efficiency improvements, process streamlining, and bottleneck reduction
- Build and Maintain a Procurement Knowledge center, focused on streamlined content creation for external presentations
- Guide the development of critical analytic and operational infrastructure to identify and implement tools to advance Procurement execution
- Lead a team of 12 employees responsible for building and maintaining a team culture of strong engagement, customer focus, innovation, and intellectual curiosity across the team.
- 10+ years of relevant experience (FP&A, Analytics, Strategy, Procurement, Finance Operations, Advisory Services, MBA studies)
- 5+ years of MS Office experience
- 2+ years management experience
- Experience with data visualization tools (ex. Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge or experience with programming language (ex. SQL, VBA)
- MBA with a similar concentration
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Strategy, or related field
The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
