The role of Lead Director, Retention will execute the plan set forth by the Executive Director, Retention to drive incremental growth within Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness segment through customer acquisition and retention excellence. This role's success is heavily dependent on building collaborative relationships and networking, problem solving in real time, and setting the agenda with field leaders to execute the plan to drive retention and readiness. Our growth department leads multiple pillars (Acquisitions, Store Closings, New Patient Growth Opportunities, & net new work) and this individual's success depends on their ability to remain agile, strong negotiation skills, and highly organized. This position will be reporting to and supporting the Executive Director, Pharmacy Growth.   • Must be able to execute a plan designed to drive patient and colleague retention across multiple business pillars.
  • Establishing deep cross- functional relationships throughout the Enterprise to ensure solutions and initiatives are effectively executed as designed.
  • This role must remain agile and drive innovative thinking by successfully building and implementing a wide variety of approaches for a multi-faceted retention strategy to include modern technology and innovative processes.
Understanding and Implementing Processes
  • Fully embraces organizational improvement initiatives, acting as a change agent with one's own team and peers.
  • Leverages a results-oriented mindset, using metrics to monitor improvements.
  • Coaches and empowers the team to drive change within their areas.
  • Provides both constructive and positive feedback on new initiatives to appropriate teams.
  • Look for ways to break through implementation barriers rather than be impeded by them.
Patient and Colleague Experience
  • Ensures strong communication channels throughout all levels of leadership, patients, and colleagues with our retail stores, inclusive of consistent follow-up with action items and feedback.
  • Holds self and team accountable to develop a continuous improvement, leveraging new technologies to drive simplification while maximizing impact for our customers and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years proven experience in setting clear vision, strong communication & influencing skills, and execution through KPIs were required.
  • 5+ experience in developing and implementing retention strategies.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work cross functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding organizational skills, specifically to ensure timely and proactive follow up with leadership and team.
  • Innovative spirit with a desire to define and execute talent strategies.
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside of CVS Health
  • Proven history of building and utilizing a data-driven approach to drive strategy
Education
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
