In this role as Lead Director - HCB FPA, you will report to the Executive Director of HCB FP&A and will lead a team a small team. You will lead all of our date of service reporting and will be responsible for driving the implementation and enhancement of our financial systems. This position will collaborate with senior leadership across a wide variety of constituents including business finance, actuarial, expense management, HCB Actuals team and many more business areas. This role is a highly visible role and responsible for providing executives with the information they need to make critical business decisions and will be responsible for the following .

  • Proactively evaluates Company performance by leveraging both Financial Statement and Date of Service analyses to inform strategic decisions that drive operating income growth
  • Combines focused analytical research, complex financial modeling and business decision support related to long-term, sustainable operating earnings growth actions and strategy
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise to implement changes and enhancements to our financial systems
  • Provide strategic direction, continuous coaching, development and feedback while leading a small team including rotational development program members
  • Technical knowledge of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, Anaplan, ADAM etc..)
  • Assist in the development of ad-hoc analyses and actionable recommendations for executive leadership
  • Leverage strong communication and presentation skills
  • Continuous process improvement and leveraging of technology
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Experience designing and executing process improvements
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in healthcare, managed care insurance, financial forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, actuarial, and management of teams.
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep Understanding of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, AMRS, etc).
  • Advanced degree in Finance or Business, CPA preferred and/or FSA desired.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience.
Education

Bachelor Degree, (Masters preferred) OR equivalent work experiencePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
