Position Summary: As a key member of the Digital, Data, Analytics and Technology ("DDAT") team, this role will join a dynamic organization committed to the acceleration of business growth, enhancement of the customer experiences, and enablement of operational efficiencies by powering CVS Health to be a 'digital first, technology forward and data driven' company.The Lead Director, Business Ops & Strategy will support the Vice President of Client & Member Experience in the development, maintenance, and rationalization of the Pharmacy Services (PS) Strategic Roadmap. This roadmap will significantly impact company strategy enabling PS to be competitive in the marketplace and effectively serve its customers. The role will assist with Executive leadership updates and collaboration across the Enterprise to optimize and align strategic business objectives. The role will act independently to address issues, guide direction, and provide analysis for organizational initiatives. Further, the role will work collaboratively with Portfolio Management, Enterprise Delivery, Enterprise Strategy, and our Business Leaders to effectively drive strategy and communications.   • Work directly with the DDAT and Business Leadership Teams to evaluate and elaborate organizational strategy
  • Plan and manage the work associated with maintenance and communication of the strategy roadmap
  • Drive the Strategic Roadmap with high attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Partner with the business, technology, and finance resources to ensure investments align to the strategic roadmap
  • Partner with internal strategy to assess our capabilities against competitors and identify gaps
  • Collaborate with Business team to effectively communicate the strategic roadmap with internal stakeholders
  • Challenge partners to think differently regarding critical investments and alignment to goals and priorities
  • Act as a thought partner and model creative storytelling to communicate strategy across enterprise
  • Ensure high quality and consistent storytelling across artifacts
  • Produce high quality, consistent work within established timelines
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of overall work experience with a concentration in consulting and strategic background
  • 8+ years' experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and other productivity software
  • 5+ years' experience building executive level deliverables (e.g., story-lining a presentation)
  • 5+ years' experience with financial / fiscal management including budgeting & ROI calculations
  • 5+ years' experience working thru ambiguity, influence and drive buy-in for strategic direction with leadership
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Strong track record of effective communication; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to convey information in an accessible, concise, and clear manner
  • Customer centric, creative, and strategic; prior customer facing experience is preferred
  • Project management experience required
  • Must be able to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder client environment
  • Highly communicative collaborator with experience working in fast-paced, multi-functional team environments
  • Experience managing change and in developing and maintaining excellent relations with executives, customers, operations, and staff at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, with proven analytical and critical thinking skills
  • High energy level; comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
  • Approaches challenges with a sense of urgency, ability to work well under pressure and take direction
  • Experience in scoping, discovery, and deployment of Operations solutions.
  • Experience in continuous planning and action to support platform performance, scalability, and complexity.
  • Proven ability to drive rationalization and integration of Business Operations tools and platforms, and event correlation and enrichment
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Advanced degree majoring in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field a plus
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
