And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position SummaryThe Lead Director, Business Information Security will act as the Business Information Security Officer (BISO), serving as a trusted security advisor to their assigned line of business. This individual will provide leadership, executive support, strategic and tactical guidance for a world-class enterprise cybersecurity program. As a business enabler, the BISO is an effective communicator with the technical aptitude to drive security fundamentals into aspects of the business. The BISO understands security risks, threats, vulnerabilities, control frameworks and security technologies and translates the impact in business terms. The BISO must be capable of working closely with executive management, third parties, project managers and business subject matter experts (SMEs). Additionally, the BISO must be client oriented and able to translate cybersecurity issues to business leaders.*This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States; however, preference will be for those who reside in CST/Central time zone.Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor with business unit leadership and act as a liaison to ensure cybersecurity practices are built into business unit initiatives for the entire lifecycle
• In conjunction with security risk management and business leaders, define and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics aligning with business initiatives and deliver them to non-technical teams in terms that are accessible and comprehensible
• Drive risk management strategy by designing business unit security objectives , communicating the vision, driving accomplishments and outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date technical security knowledge related to security threats, vulnerabilities and mitigations set forth to reduce the attack surface; circulate this knowledge through the business units as well as promoting active priority campaigns within TSS / DDAT
• Stay abreast of new laws, regulations and standards, and assess their impact to the business unit
• Engage in industry and tool partners marketing events representing SME in the industry - panel discussions, presentations and/ or white paper and industry periodical contribution
• Negotiate to remove complexity and obstacles that hinder efficient security controls enterprise-wide
• Provide motivation, as well as applied mediation and facilitation skills, to business units to adopt cybersecurity controls and engage with internal and external stakeholders to educate on control requirements and communicate impact of policy changesRequired Qualifications
- 10+ years of information security or related experience.
- 8+ years of leadership experience, leading both technical and GRC security programs.
- 5+ years' experience working with business leadership and large-scale enterprise security projects.
- Deep understanding of two or more security control frameworks and alignment to key regulations (examples: NIST, ISO, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI) with applicable knowledge of national and global cybersecurity practices.
- Demonstrable experience with understanding business focus and processes and ability to inject cybersecurity into the business through teamwork and influence.
- Demonstrable experience with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and varying personalities and adapt management style to effectively reach mutually beneficial outcomes In-depth knowledge of multi-cloud service provider security technologies, implementations and best practices.
- Demonstrated understanding and comprehension of a wide range of cybersecurity technologies & solutions.
- Application Security topics such as OWASP top 10, secure software delivery tooling, threat modeling and penetration testing techniques.
- Able to attain and preserve credibility with the team through sustained industry knowledge.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and confidence, and able to represent the company and security leadership with the highest level of professionalism.
- Influence external stakeholders to achieve win-win security outcomes for the business and clients.
- Developing a project approach for CISO strategic initiatives and run project execution until completion.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)
The typical pay range for this role is:$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
