This important leadership role is responsible for leading the population health Aetna Medical Affairs team in the development of programmatic User Guides and sets the strategy for how requests for proposal (RFP) sections on Population Health are written for success. Additionally, this leader is responsible for representing Aetna Medical Affairs as the content subject matter expert (SME) for Population Health in RFP design, writing, and optimization. This leader will apply expertise to organize and create a clinical content library of existing clinical program descriptions, data points and program evaluations, member success stories to gather content for inclusion in RFP responses. This leader will also apply expertise and understanding of the population health programs and to effectively respond to State requests and priorities. Analyzing and planning for places where the population program has opportunities, this leader will collaborate across clinical programs to ensure consistency in programs and their description in RFP responses. This role plays a crucial leadership role in preparation and execution for RFP in new states as well as current business. Additionally, this leader is the clinical liaison for the development of the Medicaid Maternity, NICU, and First year of Life program builds.

- National SME on Population Health sections for RFP
- 10+ years building and maintaining clinical content strategy which includes a Clinical RFP library for use during RFP process
- Lead development of population health programs
- Lead processes to ensure capture of proof points during preparation for RFP
- Collaborate on development strategies during new RFP process to ensure alignment with overall Pop Health Strategy
- Ability To: motivate teams, work collaboratively across a matrixed organization and us data to influence Senior leadership around program approvals and adoption. Regular and reliable attendance. Travel will be required occasionally and may be 20-30%.
Knowledge of: Industry best practices and most recent evidence base in clinical services and population health. Critical and strategic thinking as well as strong writing skills are essential to success in this role. Comfort in highly matrixed environment and strong communication skills are required. Regular and reliable attendance, ability to be flexible in job tasks as directed by manager are key. Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicaid regulations, and Medicaid contracts nationally is crucial.

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
