The Intake & Business Prioritization role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a centralized intake and holistic business prioritization processes for the Grievance & Appeals (G&A) Technology Program. As well as facilitate tracking the end-to-end lifecycle of initiatives from ideation to delivery. Strong organization, coordination, and communications skills are required in this highly matrixed role. - Manage the G&A Technology Program Intake Process to meet business objectives (50%)
- Establish and maintain process flow and tracking mechanism for new technology ideas for consideration.
- Develop training and documentation for the intake process, updating and communicating as process changes.
- Prepare holistic reporting of all initiatives in intake for disposition, backlog items, initiatives in flight, and delivered.
- Ensure process is followed for completeness, including a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) when required, partnering with the Director of Workforce Planning & Investments.
- Prepare agenda, reporting, and facilitate regular intake call with G&A Senior Leadership and key stakeholders to disposition ideas, and follow up with actions, and communicate key decisions made.
- Facilitate follow up conversations to conduct Initiative process with IT to review process flows, initial assumptions, and potential solution.
- Facilitate Cost Benefit Analysis calls as required to understand cost and benefit assumptions, and benefit calculations.
- Ensure intake items approved are entered in Rally by the MHK PM, for backlog refinement to be prioritized within in existing PI or upcoming PI.
- Drive ongoing holistic Business Prioritization and tracking end to end to manage initiatives across G&A lines of business within approved capital, capacity and tradeoffs considerations (e.g., compliance, benefits, etc.), including both technology and business initiatives (40%)
- Partner with the Director of Workforce Planning & Investments to develop and maintain the framework and process to prioritize initiatives at intake and in advance of PI Planning.
- Partner with the Director of Workforce Planning & Investments and Director of Strategy & Performance Management to refine the template and process for quarterly updates.
- Establish and drive quarterly process with Value Stream leads to review and update compendium of Value Stream Maps and Business Charters.
- Prepare agenda, reporting, and facilitate quarterly business prioritization call with G&A Senior Leadership and key stakeholders to review the roadmap, backlog, re-prioritize strategic initiatives, and follow up with actions, and communicate key decisions made.
- Ensure Value Stream Leads are prepared to report out on initiative and benefit delivery with G&A Senior Leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manage the initiatives source of truth end to end from idea, intake, backlog, inflight, and delivered, working closely with the Director of Workforce Planning & Investments to capture planned and actual benefits monthly.
- Drive follow up with actions, and communicate key decisions made.
- Support Director of Strategy & Performance Management on PI Planning materials to communicate priorities.
- Project management of annual capital planning process (10%)
- Facilitate ideation and charter creation.
- Set and communicate the timeline for planning, including follow ups.
- Partner with IT to confirm capacity to execute against ideas.
- Ensure checklist is complete of all items required to business to make funding decisions.
- Has exhibited strong communication skills, coordinating across multiple key stakeholders
- Has ability to understand technical ideas and relay key points in business language, focused on impact, outcome and value delivered
- Experience and comfortable working in highly matrixed teams, stakeholders at various levels
- Quick Base knowledge is required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Highschool + 4 years of relevant work experience.)

The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
