Position Summary
As part of the State Reporting unit of the Banking, Funding and Reporting team, this position will be primarily responsible for setting up new customers who elect Aetna to handle NYHCRA on their behalf and provide support for our NYHCRA processes.

A Brief Overview
Our unit handles the setup, calculation, payment, and chargeback of membership and claim based State assessments for twelve states. Many state has multiple assessments and each state has unique requirements. This position's primary support will be to support New York's HCRA assessment; however, we work collaboratively and the job will provide support as needed for all functions. Under the state assessment team, this role will work collaboratively with account managers, contacts at the various States and departmental colleagues.
What you will do
- Review and process NYHCRA election forms for new customers who elect Aetna as their TPA for NYHCRA.
- Identify and explain errors on customers paperwork to internal contacts.
- Follow up on outstanding cases to ensure timely resolution.
- Enter all pertinent data into our internal BOT to ensure customer data is fed into our systems appropriately.
- Properly document and file all election information to appropriate on-line folders.
- Explain NYHCRA regulation to account managers, internal contacts, customers, brokers.
- Provide backup support for other functions, as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must be able to work with high volumes during peak periods. Periodic overtime will be required.

- Understand and initiate ideas for the development of policies and procedures of own unit in the performance of specific job functions
- Maintain strong collaborative relationship with customers and internal business partners to maintain a high performance culture
- Provide professional, prompt, and accurate service to all internal and external clients.

We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.
Aetna Service Operations office/hub locations will be discussed with the selected candidate.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $76,500.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
