Title: Executive Director, Provider Affairs and Engagement

Serving as a key member of the Provider leadership team, this position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and processes to ensure all Providers have an engaging and seamless experience in their careers at Oak Street Health. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives, this position will provide guidance and strategic consultation on a wide range of Provider-related issues while fostering an extraordinary Provider experience and inclusive work environment. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this position will play a critical role in the evolution and success of the Office of Provider Affairs. The Office of Provider Affairs will oversee the Provider life cycle to include recruiting, credentialing, onboarding programs, continuous learning, retention, wellness and engagement of Providers as they grow in their careers at Oak Street. The Executive Director of Provider Affairs and Engagement will work closely with our People Experience team to ensure cohesion and consistency with the broader organization.Core Responsibilities:

- In a matrixed reporting structure, lead the Provider group administration function, emphasizing team development and optimization to support future business plans and growth.
- In partnership with the Chief Medical Officer, lead the development and deployment of the Provider Affairs strategic plan.
- Collaborate with the appropriate business leaders that drive the associated Provider lifecycle verticals, including recruiting, onboarding, education, wellness, engagement, professional development, retention, and offboarding.
- In partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, develop and deliver strategic vision for Provider recruitment, including short and long-term sourcing, marketing, media and pipeline development.
- In collaboration with Clinical Operations and Learning, design and implement programs that strengthen the clinical and leadership capabilities of current and future Provider leaders in alignment with Oak Street values, leadership model, and culture.
- Collaborate with peers and subject-matter experts to proactively champion Provider solutions and develop/implement process improvement strategies for Providers.
- Apply operational excellence to ensure effective and timely delivery of Provider programs at scale.
- Leverage Provider data and analytics to drive insights and support decision-making processes related to Provider engagement, effectiveness, and quality of care.
- Work to ensure coordination, communication, and collaboration with all leaders and programs supporting Providers across their Oak Street Health lifecycle
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred
- A minimum requirement of 10 years of medical group administration experience with 8 years in Provider program development, Provider engagement, and/or Provider recruitment/contracting and credentialing.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing Provider strategies to support high-growth organizations and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading and supporting organizational change management initiatives.
- Ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align Provider strategies with organizational goals.
- Experience working closely with senior executives and driving Provider initiatives at the leadership level.
- Ability to support, develop, mentor, and motivate team members.
- An operational mindset for flawless execution.
- Strong thought leadership in people strategies and industry best practices.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives related to organizational growth and transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.

The typical pay range for this role is:$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
