You will be responsible for high quality design of client creative projects and programs through strategic direction, development of cohesive creative concepts, and seamless execution. You will work quickly and effectively and continually finds ways to work more efficiently through in-depth understanding of design software and other digital tools. You will suggest improvements and modify formats to increase quality of production and ensure that all client standards are met.You will ensure all creative deliverables are consistent with the client's design quality and consistency standards. You will successfully deliver on a range of creative deliverables, including but not limited to all print and digital assets. You will bring innovative, thoughtful, tactical, and strategic-level thinking to client projects.You will serve as a strategic and trusted partner to the account management, writing and client teams. You will exhibit outstanding creative judgment and achieve the highest possible creative standards for all materials, regardless of medium. You must have strong knowledge of the client's business, style, and consistency standards.Fundamental Job Components

  • Display a deep understanding of the health insurance industry, client's health benefits products, audiences, and business objectives, and execute on creative that aligns with the client's vision.
  • Ensure successful execution of print and digital creative projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
  • Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of design objectives and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Develop user-centered designs, ensuring that the products and services deliver an exceptional user experience.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with other teams such as account management, copywriting, MarTech, operations, and digital teams.
  • Establish and implements programs and innovative initiatives for the organization to advance Creative and Design initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and act on opportunities for operational creative efficiencies and improvements.
  • Understand the importance of accessibility and meeting WCAG 2.0 standards in design.
  • Ability to analyze deliverable metrics for use in continuous improvement.
  • Effectively manage multiple design projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ensure all output is in alignment with client principles, values, and standards.
  • Ability to find common ground with clients when debating creative or strategic opinions
  • Conduct most complex ideation sessions for teams to develop creative initiatives.
  • Coach others in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
  • 5 plus years of digital and print creative work experience in an external or internal agency.
  • 5 plus years of health benefits insurance marketing and communication expertise.
  • Employee benefits knowledge and experience.
  • A strong portfolio with range of both impactful, imaginative print and digital design work, and a broad range of file formats.
  • Collaborates well within the entire communications team and across the organization; promote a "be of service" mentality to the client and across the internal team.
  • Strong detail orientation with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with willingness to be flexible and respond to quickly changing priorities.
  • Strike balance of strong creative and technical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Superior knowledge of all print, digital, video, and web standards and requirements.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Figma, Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Edge Animate are a plus.
  • Solid understanding of presentation-layer code, including HTML(5) and CSS.
  • Experience in Adobe WorkFront, Figma, Stensul and Sales Force Marketing Cloud a plus
  • Ability to build motion graphics.
  • Experience in conceptual design, user interface design, responsive design, and user-centered design.
  • Experienced with retouching photos, re-positioning, and preparing both print and digital designs for final release and posting.
  • Strong expertise in designing for email marketing.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to successfully take digital projects through their full life cycle - from concept to launch.
  • Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye for design aesthetics.
  • Mastery in usability and accessibility best practices.
  • Ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising or equivalent work experience
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
