The CVS Health Product Personalization team is a cross functional team of data scientists, engineers, product associates, and designers. This team sits within Aetna and uses the latest AI, engineering, product, and user experience approaches to personalize products.

As the Data Scientist - Product Personalization - you will work with experts across our company to design, build, and scale health plan recommendation systems. Your work will answer strategically important questions like what plans best meet employers' members needs and budgets? Or, how do we predict the best time to deliver notifications that cut through the noise?
Think things like building data science models for production-grade systems, running online A/B tests, and using experimentation and AI to improve product offerings.
What you will do:
• Partner with product, engineers, and UX to build the simplest solution that can move the needle with our customers
• Implement and maintain responsible and effective AI and machine learning models in production
• Influence the product roadmap by building subject matter expertise in health plan design, pricing, and sales users' needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by communicating insights, incorporating feedback, and iterating on solutions to drive continuous improvement
• Bring a learning mindset to continuously discover and apply new technology in development and hybrid team collaboration
The ideal candidate:
• Has experience working with production models, including model maintenance and new feature development
• Wants to do something that is innovative from a data science perspective and has a tangible operational impact
• Loves innovating and working on small teams that get stuff done and have a lot of autonomy
Required Qualifications
• 1+ years work experience in data science
• 1+ years of programming experience in Python and SQL
• 1+ years of experience in version control (i.e. git, CI/CD)
• Knowledge, experience, or interest in automated testing frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years work experience in data science
• Experience in Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, Tech or similar
• Experience with cloud computing (GCP, AWS, or MicrosoftAzure)
Education
• Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$86,520.00 - $173,040.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
