- Leverage automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to integrate API-driven workflows with multi-cloud environments on GCP and AWS
- Develop and maintain scripts and services (using languages such as Python or Go) to monitor, manage, and optimize automated deployments
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to embed robust security practices within API development, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Monitor API performance and reliability, employing automated testing, logging, and alerting mechanisms to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Lead incident response efforts, troubleshoot complex network issues, and implement strategic improvements to prevent future occurrences
- Work cross-functionally with software engineers, security experts, and operations teams to integrate network solutions that meet evolving business needs
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, leveraging best practices from leading tech companies like Google and Facebook to continuously enhance our infrastructure automation strategy
- 7+ years experience in cloud automation, API development, or DevOps roles, with a proven track record in designing scalable cloud solutions on both GCP and AWS
- 3+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks in complex, multi-cloud environments
- Experience in API design and development, including RESTful services and microservices architectures
- Proficiency with network automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python scripting)
- Experience with container security, CI/CD integration, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, Typescript, Go) and familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes and Service Mesh) is a plus.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
The typical pay range for this role is:$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
