Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator - Registered Nurse

This is a direct-hire, full-time position

In this role you will:
- Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and the sales team to coordinate the patient's plan of care.
- Work within a highly specialized area of nursing and enjoy the autonomy that comes from working within a home care service.
- Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.
- Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting.
- Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills to interact with key partners
- Participate in on-call rotation as determined by business needs.

Travel:

- You will visit patients in the state of Utah approximately 50% of the time with most of those patients living in the Salt Lake City area.

- You will need the flexibility to travel by airplane throughout the region (i.e., AZ, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, WA, and WY) approximately 50% of the time.

- When not visiting patients, you will work from home

- Overnight travel approximately 50% of the time

Required Qualifications

- Must live within one hour of Salt Lake City International Airport
- Registered Nurse with current unrestricted licensure in the state of Utah with ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service area

- Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.
- Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.
- Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require.
- Have and maintain current CPR certification.
- Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension - PAH is great, but not required
- Home healthcare and pediatric experience is preferred, but not required
- CRNI certification is preferred, but not required

The typical pay range for this role is:$54,095.00 - $116,760.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
