The Business Process Designer (Analyst) will be a member of the Optimization team within the Process Excellence & Innovation Team and will focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of processes across CVS. This role will drive engagement with internal finance business partners with the intent of bringing together process improvement, reengineering, automation, and other capabilities. Candidates looking to fill this role would need to support, enable, and execute a greater level of digital optimization, while also streamlining processes to ultimately bring meaningful and tangible business outcomes to CVS Health.
The ideal candidate will embrace an innovative mindset, be ready, and able, to relentlessly seek best practices and technologies. Additional, they will be expected to make immediate impact to reduce process complexity, increase process efficiency, and enable speed of operational processes. They will posses strong and wide spread domain knowledge of financial processes specific to the HealthCare and Insurance spaces.Ability To:
- Comprehend process flows and complex data sets, and identify optimization opportunities in a short time-frame
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, learn on the fly to understand and solve new problems and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines
- Document current-state process flows, design and execute future state solutions for Finance and Accounting business processes
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements for implementation of process and automation solutions
- Work collaboratively and effectively in a matrixed team environment
- Influence stakeholders without authority
- Communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical, and consistent both verbally and written
- Generate enthusiasm, commitment, and alignment
- Prepare materials and presentations with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlinesRequired Qualifications
2+ years experience minimum in the following:Ability to demonstrate expertise of documenting and analyzing business processes.
Ability to demonstrate expertise identifying process waste.
Ability to demonstrate expertise reengineering business processes.
Ability to demonstrate expertise in scoping, defining, planning, mapping, requirements writing, and executing projects in a matrix business environment
Problem solver with strong analytical and quantitative orientation
Charismatic relationship builder able to influence at executive level
Proactive, planful, and result-driven with highest level of attention to detail
Effective communicator with strong verbal and written presentation abilities
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, and PowerPoint, SharePoint, Jira, Power BI, and SQL.
Ability to discover/seek/gather/understand documentation of business process knowledge related to projects
Ability to work individually, think critically, and problem-solve with little direction.Preferred Qualifications
Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification or higher
LEAN training and/or certifications
Agile SDLC training and/or certifications
Project Management training and/or certifications
Knowledge of robotic process automation
Knowledge of change managementEducation
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $102,000.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
