The Supplemental Benefits Team is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Analyst to support our Front Store Merchandising organization. This position will play a critical role in shaping the customer experience across 7,000+ stores. This position is instrumental in delivering the best products and promotions to our customers by leveraging strong analytical skills to evaluate sales trends, identify opportunities and optimize merchandising strategies.
The ideal candidate can not only identify complex problems but implement solutions and drive strategic changes across their category of responsibility as well as support larger business unit/front store challenges outside their assigned category. Candidates should be able to clearly present to Senior Category Manager and DMM leadership. A successful Senior Analyst will leverage strong prioritization skills to proactively anticipate the market and take calculated, well supported risks to grow CVS/category market share while balancing P&L financial impacts. Candidates must be able to successfully:

Responsibilities
Develops pricing strategies and promotional plans for assigned categories.
Analyzes and optimizes the performance of assets, develops plans to maximize their value, and provides recommendations for improvements.
Conducts in-depth analysis of the performance, risks, and potential returns of assets within the assigned category.
Monitors and analyzes sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned categories and generates reports to evaluate the effectiveness of category strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Forecasts demand and stock levels and works to minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
Examines supplier performance, conducts negotiations, and resolves any procurement issues or discrepancies.
Guides and trains junior-level staff members on industry best care practices, techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
Participates in cross-functional meetings, presents findings and recommendations, and drives initiatives that support category growth.
Reviews industry publications and attends conferences to identify emerging trends and industry achievements.
Coordinate and manage New Item set up and maintenance for planogram and mid-year items.
Coordinate and manage of off-shelf programs with key suppliers, setting up programs and running off-shelf reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
- 3+ years' experience using design methodologies, including user research, problem definition, prototype development and iteration, etc.
- 3+ years' experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials
- 3+ years' experience analyzing and synthesizing data
- 3+ years' experience successfully building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts
- 3+ years' experience analyzing market trends
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals
- Strong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines
- Strong personal integrity and judgment, evidenced by a track record of managing highly sensitive or highly visible business matters
- Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
- Strong ability to build fast, credible relationships with leaders, peers and clients
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to process data, identify problems, and make effective decisions
- Advanced awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills

- Certified Professional Merchandiser (CPM) preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
