The Asset Protection Lead is responsible for ensuring the security and protection of company assets, employees, and customers. This role oversees loss prevention initiatives, enforces safety policies, and collaborates with internal teams to minimize risks and maintain a secure work environment. The Asset Protection Sr. Lead will also be responsible for training and guiding Quality control colleagues and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. This position will be primarily station in Houston DC but will need to be able to flex schedule and location to Conroe DC.

Key Responsibilities Loss Prevention & Security

• Monitor and enforce security policies to protect company assets, employees, and property.

• Lead and assist in audits of inventory control and shrink reduction initiatives.

• Oversee security protocols, including access control, surveillance monitoring, and alarm response.

• Quality Control to ensure proper handling of product and colleague accountability. Team Leadership & Training

• Train and guide Quality control colleagues

• Provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.

• Assist in scheduling, delegating tasks, and ensuring proper coverage for security operations. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices related to asset protection.

• Support workplace safety programs by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular security inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business, or a related field preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or security, preferably in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of security systems, investigative techniques, and loss prevention strategies.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security-related software.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and monitor facilities for extended periods.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in distribution centers, retail, or manufacturing environments.

The typical pay range for this role is:$18.50 - $38.82This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
