Join CVS Health as a Software Development Engineer and role model to peers and clients in AS/400 IT application development. Within the AS/400 application development area you will be responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and review to ensure adherence to quality requirements and ensure the product works. Over the time you will be aligned to specific functional areas that you will work closely with the related SME's to gain the knowledge and support both functionally and technically as part of RxClaim/Adjudication application.Key Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• You will work closely with the CVS leads on Analysis, Development and Estimation activities related to designate project/functional area in IBM AS/400 (IBM i) environment
• You will make certain appropriate and effective data integration across multiple applications
• You will provide support to analysis, design, development and testing complex functionality within the RxClaim application (adjudication area)
• You will create/review technical solutions and document projects, for example: Analysis & Designs Program specifications and Code Reviews
• You will help define standards / methodologies / guidelines, and ensure compliance while aligning solutions to the RxClaim application architecture.

Key Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• You will work closely with the CVS project leads on Analysis, Development and Estimation activities related to designated project/functional area in IBM AS/400 (IBM i) environment
• You will make certain appropriate and effective data integration across multiple applications
• You will provide support to analysis, design, development and testing complex functionality within the RxClaim application (adjudication area)
• You will create/review technical solutions and document projects, for example: Analysis & Designs Program specifications and Code Reviews
• You will help define standards / methodologies / guidelines, and ensure compliance while aligning solutions to the RxClaim adjudication application architecture.Required Qualifications
• 2+ years experience and a deep understanding of AS/400 application development, Maintenance and Support
• 2+ years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE and CL; Synon2/E (aka COOL 2/E)
• 2+ years of IBMi SQL experience
• 2+ Experience working on SDLC and Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated successful completion of several medium to large scope projects; proficiency working on all phases of SDLC and with problem determination and resolution through research and fact finding.
• Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication system is preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$72,100.00 - $144,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
