This role is for an individual with strong technical leadership skills, a deep understanding of the PBM and its underlying need for automation technology, a track record of innovation with the capability to overcome him/herself any hurdle encountered in a very timely manner.Documenting requirements and analyzing technologies needed. Documenting business requirements and key discussions for developing new applications or on enhancements of the existing application. Analyzing suitable technologies for the applications by creating proof of concepts to fulfill the requirements. Identifying the existing capabilities and check for a scope to improve the performance of the applications. Estimating level of effort for each feature in terms of number of resources and time needed to develop each feature of the applications.Reviewing estimates with Product owners and Business Analysts on prioritization. Analyzing SQL relational databases and data according to the standardsDeveloping application architecture: Outlining high-level micro service architecture for the applications.Implementing a Proof of Concept to demonstrate potential technologies to be used in developing and testing the applications. Applying software engineering principles to produce quality code. Reviewing relevant information security standards to guarantee Architectural Suitability.Breaking down larger architecture into discrete by applying micro services principles, implementable story cards to be pulled into development.Creating applications with various technologies: Meeting with the team on a daily basis to discuss the progress on user stories. Creating micro services to develop Rest APIs as a producer and consumer to meet the business requirements. Developing end-to-end applications, leveraging new technologies available in cloud environment. Securing API's using Spring Security framework by overriding the available classes in the libraries.Keep abreast on cloud securityPassionate to provide mentorship to junior team membersRequired Qualifications

- 7+ years of IT experience
- 7+ years of experience in a TDD development team
- 7+ years of experience in developing microservices on a public cloud platform with an Angular UI
- 7+ years of experience in delivering system automation solutions
- 7+ years of experience in managing and utilizing CICD pipes along with dev automation tools (Git/Maven/Graddle/Sonarqube)
- 10+ years of full stack experience with Java/Spring Boot, AngularJS, PostGres/SQL, Kafka, Agile, Docker, HTML/CSS, XP. SAFE skills, .NET a plus.
- Cloud/Web certifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
The typical pay range for this role is:$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
