- Utilizes basic functionality of underwriting tools, systems, and reference materials to produce accurate quotes, renewals, and/or accountings.
- Applies underwriting guidelines and escalates underwriting exceptions/financial variances for assigned cases to the appropriate level.
- Assists department with projects or workgroups; identifies and supports process improvement through automation or process change.
- 0-2 years Health care/ insurance experience
- Demonstrated success prioritizing work and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize analytical and independent thinking skills.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with others to meet/exceed expectations.
- Experience providing clear and concise written and verbal communications.
- Experience working with standard Microsoft Office products.

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial and medical information to make sound underwriting decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with underwriting or case management systems
- Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication for documentation, customer correspondence, and internal recommendations
- Detail-Oriented with the ability to manage multiple applications or projects
- Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to adapt to changing processes and guidelines
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:$21.10 - $44.99This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
