Position Summary
The Information Governance & Privacy Office (IGPO) is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in an Analyst role to support the Aetna Privacy team. In this role, the Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day privacy operations in a rapidly evolving privacy landscape. This individual should be knowledgeable about compliance, the Aetna business and preferably has familiarity with data privacy.

Responsibilities for the Analyst:
  • Monitoring the Aetna privacy email box for day-to-day inquiries and responding, redirecting or coordinating the handling of the request.
  • Entering disclosures and incoming privacy incidents into the respective databases.
  • Monitoring the Aetna privacy digital mailroom mailbox and handling incoming mail accordingly.
  • Maintaining tables in the privacy incident database to ensure contractual reporting requirements are met.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, yearly and adhoc privacy reports, as needed.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams regarding ongoing privacy compliance activities.
  • Supporting ad hoc projects.
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of privacy, security, and data governance standards and commitments applicable to Aetna and its various business segments, and the ability to analyze.
  • Experience in privacy, compliance or related area
  • Experience working on privacy issues and knowledge of U.S. and/or international privacy laws and regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, FTC Section 5, GDPR, FCRA/FACTA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, COPPA, GLBA
  • Must be able to prioritize appropriately, and multi-task on high priority and high impact projects.
  • Organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization.
  • CIPP, CIPT, CIPM or other privacy related certifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
