As an Actuarial Analyst the ideal candidate will support system enhancements from beginning to end; providing status updates to business partners, supporting project technical steps, and moving the improvements through the testing, documentation, and rollout stages. They will also make use of their technical skills and attention to detail in the coordination and implementation of rating changes to our production environment.Actuarial responsibilities include:

• Defining specifications and documentation for data structures supporting rating methodology changes
• Testing and sign-off for ERNIE system enhancements and new product initiative implementations
• Researching rating method results for regulatory/underwriting inquiries
• Assessing claim impact of benefit relativity changes
Technical responsibilities include:
• Implementation of commercial actuarial rate reviews in ERNIE
• Tier 2 technical support for underwriting/actuarial rating issues
• Process improvement via SQL and Excel/VBA Required Qualifications
• 1+ SOA Exams Passed

• 3+ months experience in a professional setting

• Experience with Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ SOA Exams Passed

• Actuarial experience

• Experience with SQL Education:

The typical pay range for this role is:$61,800.00 - $135,960.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
