The Senior Analyst for the Enterprise Data & AI Governance Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring audit readiness and enabling responsible AI usage across the organization. This position will support client and regulatory inquiries regarding our AI practices and assist teams in adopting AI technologies in a compliant manner. The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with legal, privacy, and data science teams to promote effective governance and compliance frameworks, ensuring that AI initiatives align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:

  • Support audit readiness initiatives by preparing documentation and evidence for internal and external audits related to AI usage.
  • Respond to client and regulator inquiries regarding the organization's AI practices, ensuring transparency and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, privacy, and the data science community, to develop and implement guidelines for responsible AI usage.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials and resources to educate stakeholders on AI governance policies, compliance requirements, and ethical considerations.
  • Monitor and analyze AI initiatives to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions to enhance governance practices.
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to track AI governance metrics and provide insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about evolving regulatory guidelines and industry best practices related to AI governance and compliance.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to promote a culture of responsible AI use and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in AI governance, compliance, or audit-related roles or equivalent experience through academia training with advanced degree
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, including generative AI and machine learning frameworks.
  • Proven project management skills with experience in managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders and fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field such as data science, analytics, public health, public policy or business administration.
  • Experience with AI ethics, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance (e.g., NIST, NAIC and EU AI Act).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change and drive compliance within complex organizational structures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, analytics, data science, public policy, or a related field.

The typical pay range for this role is:$79,310.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
