DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator - Level II to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Plainfield, IN.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Manage Warehouse Inventory : Utilize inventory control methodologies to manage physical inventory effectively. This ensures that inventory levels are accurate and customer expectations are met.
  • Optimize Warehouse Operations : Use warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations. This helps maintain efficient and effective warehouse operations.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Logistics and Warehousing experience preferred, including 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

Process large volumes of orders.

Maintain files and shipping records.

Interact with other departments, customers, and freight companies.

Investigate freight discrepancies - focus on problem-solving.

Compensation:
