DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Training Associate - Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Facilitating Training Programs : By supporting the facilitation of both general and specific training programs, you will ensure employees receive the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Designing and Implementing Programs : Your contributions to the planning, design, delivery, and implementation of training programs will help create effective and engaging learning experiences.
  • Collaborating with Vendors : Working with vendors and educational organizations, you'll bring in diverse and high-quality training resources, enhancing the overall development programs.
  • Creating Instructional Content : By preparing instructional materials like guides, presentations, and job aids, you'll provide valuable resources that support learning and development.
  • Conducting Needs Analysis : Your involvement in needs, audience, and task analysis will ensure that training programs are tailored to meet specific requirements and improve performance.
  • Evaluating Training Programs : Through external research and cost-benefit analysis, you will identify and evaluate the best training programs, ensuring they are cost-effective and beneficial.
  • Managing Learning Activities : Planning and administering various learning activities, including e-learning and instructor-led events, will ensure smooth and effective training sessions.
  • Maintaining Records and Reporting : By keeping detailed records and reports on training progress, you'll provide valuable insights for program revisions and improvements, ensuring continuous development.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information

  • Assist in onboarding new hires by facilitating introductory sessions on shop floor operations and expectations.
  • Develop process audits and maintain training materials such as work instructions, videos, and manuals to support training programs.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions for new and existing shop floor employees on various tasks, including station safety protocols, machine operation, quality standards, and workflow procedures.
  • Monitor employee progress, provide constructive feedback, and document training outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team leads and managers to ensure training aligns with production needs and company objectives.
