DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  1. Facilitate Effective Training Programs : By supporting the facilitation of both general and specific training programs, you'll ensure employees receive the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  2. Enhance Program Design and Delivery : Your contributions to the planning, design, delivery, and implementation of training programs will help create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  3. Collaborate with External Partners : Working with vendors and educational organizations, you'll bring in diverse expertise and resources to enhance the quality and reach of training programs.
  4. Develop High-Quality Instructional Materials : By preparing instructional materials like participant guides, instructor guides, presentations, tests, and job aids, you'll ensure that learning content is clear, comprehensive, and aligned with corporate standards.
  5. Conduct Thorough Needs Analysis : Assisting with needs, audience, and task analysis, you'll provide valuable input into identifying training needs and developing appropriate solutions or changes.
  6. Evaluate and Recommend Training Programs : Conducting external research to identify and evaluate training programs, you'll help select the best options available through vendors and educational institutions.
  7. Manage Learning Activities and Logistics : Planning and administering learning activities, including scheduling events and coordinating materials, you'll ensure smooth and efficient training operations.
  8. Monitor and Improve Training Effectiveness : By maintaining records, preparing evaluation reports, and using data to guide program revisions, you'll continuously improve the effectiveness of training programs and provide valuable recommendations for enhancements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Prefer significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

  • Assist in onboarding new hires by facilitating introductory sessions on shop floor operations and expectations.
  • Develop process audits and maintain training materials such as work instructions, videos and manuals to support training programs.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions for new and existing shop floor employees on various tasks, including station safety protocols, machine operation, quality standards, and workflow procedures.
  • Monitor employee progress, provide constructive feedback, and document training outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team leads and managers to ensure training aligns with production needs and company objectives.
