We are looking for a talented PRODUCT TECHNICIAN LEVEL III to join our specialized MANUFACTURING team for our CUMMINS company in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

  1. Health, Safety and Environment (HSE):

o Immediately stop and report any significant injury hazards.

o Report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents or hazards.

  1. Quality:

o Apply high standards in workmanship and craftsmanship, supporting failure analysis and ensuring correct execution of tasks according to diagrams, manuals and specifications.

o Provide feedback to the preventive maintenance system and keep quality documents up to date.

o Perform quality inspections and raise issues to reduce costs and exposures.
  1. Delivery:

o Proficient in performing qualified activities according to defined functions.

o Coordinate and direct other team members, document and perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.

o Maintain a clean and orderly work area, identify and resolve problems to improve manufacturing processes.
  1. Teamwork:

o Communicate effectively with team and other support groups.

o Participate in personal training and development, and collaborate with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety and processes.

Qualifications

  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure integration and efficiency in daily processes and activities.

Responsibilities

Competencies:

  • Component Tolerances: Basic knowledge of dimensional variation tolerances on parts and products.
  • CAD Design Software: Basic to intermediate proficiency in 2D and 3D design software.
  • MES Systems: Basic experience in manufacturing execution systems.
  • Measuring Instruments: Intermediate proficiency in measuring tools.
  • Oracle and Office Database Software: Basic to intermediate proficiency.
  • Documentation: Ability to create and use visual aids, control plans and standard worksheets (SWS), and knowledge of FC documentation.
  • Collaboration and effective communication.
  • Customer focus and quality decision making.
  • Self-awareness and drive for results.
  • Complexity management and continuous learning.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety and manufacturing.
  • Appreciation of differences and safety in controls.
  • Proactivity and good attitude

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent certificate; technical training or relevant experience that complies with applicable regulations.

Experience:

Significant experience in a technical role with in-depth knowledge gained through specialized training.
