We are looking for a talented MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN III to join our specialized MANUFACTURING team for our CUMMINS company in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

  • Safety and Compliance: Identify and report hazards promptly, comply with HSE policies and procedures, and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Culture and Training: Promote a culture of safety and collaboration in the team, controlling risks, and actively participate in HSE training programs.
  • Quality standards: Ensure that work meets the highest standards, following diagrams, manuals and technical specifications.
  • Continuous improvement: Optimize preventive maintenance and keep process and procedure documents up to date.
  • Efficient coordination: Align maintenance activities with other departments and shifts to ensure efficiency without affecting production.
  • Optimization and problem solving: Solve complex technical problems, improve response times and propose solutions to optimize processes and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration and support: Encourage teamwork, communicate effectively and guide less experienced members to promote a learning environment.Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives such as TPM to optimize quality, safety and productivity.
  • Participate in audits and support in the implementation of necessary improvements.
  • Maintain updated inventories and technical documentation, and collaborate in the creation or adjustment of processes according to business needs.
  • Maintenance, quality and coordination: Ensure quality standards in preventive maintenance work and processes, collaborating with other departments to minimize impacts on production and solve complex technical problems to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Teamwork and continuous improvement: Promote collaboration, mentor less experienced colleagues and participate in initiatives such as TPM to improve quality, safety and productivity.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with suppliers

Qualifications

  • Industrial Mechanics and Electronics: Experience in the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, pneumatic and electronic failures in industrial equipment, with emphasis on heavy machinery and control systems.
  • Design Tools and Software: Knowledge in the use of technical drawing software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Inventor, for the creation and updating of diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Knowledge and experience in the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, as well as failure analysis and process optimization.
  • Inventory Management Systems: Experience in the management of inventory control systems such as MAXIMO, for the efficient management of spare parts and tooling.
  • Process Documentation: Ability to create, update and maintain process documents, ensuring they are aligned with company standards and operational requirements.1st shift and availability for overtime.
  • Have at least 12 months from last promotion.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance record in the last 12 months (No reprimands or suspensions.

  • Controls Safety - Recognizes controls related hazards in a manufacturing environment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) to incorporate safe practices and procedures as part of the daily work plan to reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
  • Values differences - Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization. Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced technical training in areas such as Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or related, as well as certifications in technical areas such as industrial maintenance, quality control or industrial safety, as well as experience with safety regulations in industrial environments will be an asset. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within an industrial environment, with a focus on mechanical and electronic equipment maintenance.
