We are looking for a talented Technical Trainer Instructor - Senior (SOUTH REGION) to join our team in Eaton Cummins Joint Venture (ECJV): Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies in MI, Galesburg.

Job Summary:

Provides high-quality technical training delivery on Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies products and systems. Delivers technical training to distributor, dealer, and customer service personnel to enable technician efficiency, repair quality and customer satisfaction. Provides technical support as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Accurately Forecast and Plan: Predict training demand and develop plans to meet business needs effectively.
  • Deliver and Support Training: Provide technical training and support to technicians and service personnel on various products, policies, systems, and tools.
  • Maintain Expertise and Materials: Continuously develop your expertise through train-the-trainer sessions and keep training materials up to date.
  • Evaluate and Improve Training: Use participant feedback and field performance to evaluate and enhance training programs.
  • Maintain Records and Report: Keep accurate technical training records and report on service capability.
  • Customize Training Programs: Adapt and modify training programs and presentations to meet specific needs.
  • Build Relationships: Develop strong relationships with technical colleges to support technician development.
  • Manage Logistics: Oversee the shipping process to ensure timely delivery of class materials, including student workbooks and hands-on materials.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university or equivalent technical experience required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level of relevant work experience required, including experience in service.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position will be an employee of the Eaton Cummins Joint Venture (ECJV): Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies.

Additional responsibilities of this role:

  • Develop relationships with technical colleges to support technician development.
  • Support field training initiatives and technician competitions
  • Become an expert using our Learning Management System (LMS) and provide support to technicians if necessary
  • Manage the shipping process in the South Region to ensure timely delivery of class material, including student workbooks and hands-on material

NOTE: THIS ROLE WILL SUPPORT TRAINING NEEDS IN THE SOUTH REGION OF THE UNITED STATES
