We are looking for a TECHNICAL PROJECT LEADER PRODUCT SPECIALIST talent, to join our specialized CUMMINS team for our OnSite ENGINEERING department for SAN LUIS POTOSI, S.L.P., MEXICO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position you will have an impact by:

  • Leading and guiding the development of salvage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scopes.
  • Obtaining input and negotiate with program leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust prototype and production designs and coordinated deliverables.
  • Making decisions regarding design and project risk trade-offs that affect program cost or delivery without compromising quality expectations.
  • Providing independent leadership on smaller business impact projects and ownership of complex components or systems.
  • Delivering execution of established and emerging work processes while developing technology or product knowledge.
  • Leading the development and improvement of work processes across a functional discipline area within a business unit site.
  • Coordinating and directing work among technicians and student employees, facilitating knowledge transfer to less experienced engineers.
  • Supporting and guiding the project team's technical direction while continuing to develop proficiency in critical competency areas.
  • Operating as a recognized specialist within the team for specific disciplines or product areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Project Management and demonstrated success having worked with previous projects.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and process optimization.
  • Knowledge in 7 step problem solving.
  • Experience in design verification plan and report.
  • Proficient in project management software and methodologies.
  • Experience in administering project resources and managing risk.
  • Ability to adapt to unforeseen changes and demonstrate effective risk management.
  • Conduct individual research and analysis to support project objectives.
  • Optimize work processes by identifying and implementing effective processes to streamline workflows.
  • Regularly review and refine processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build networks.
  • English and Spanish advanced.
