DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
- Apply technical information and knowledge-based activities, fulfill work requests according to standardized policies and procedures, and document results.
- Support information processes such as Engineering Standard Work (ESW), Value Package Introduction (VPI), product change management, and data repositories like technical information libraries.
- Obtain input and negotiate with a broad variety of technical practitioners to deliver results that enable high-quality processes, tools, drawings, or specifications.
- Use academic knowledge and existing experience to take action and make decisions that progress projects forward without sacrificing project quality expectations.
- Own problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, systems, subsystems, or services, with technical complexity and ambiguity increasing as experience is gained.
- Provide independent execution of established work processes and systems while developing technology or product knowledge; engage in the improvement of systems and processes.
- Involve minimal direct management of people but may coordinate and direct work among technicians and/or temporary student employees.
- Contribute effectively toward team goals, exhibit influence within a work group, and continue to develop proficiency in critical competency areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications:
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an appropriate STEM field is required. A Master's degree relevant to this discipline may be required for select roles.
- Licenses/Certifications : This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge/Skills :
- Sound knowledge of Windchill PLM processes.
- Experience with Cummins change management process for product and plant releases.
- Expertise in handling BOM, MBOM, and Shop Orders for Cummins product structure.
- Ability to resolve PLM-related complex technical/process issues.
- Experience in PLM implementation for User Acceptance Testing or Infant Care is an added advantage.
- Experience : Entry-level/early career professional. Preferred candidates would have relevant experience in an information systems or engineering service environment as a non-exempt employee, temporary student employee (intern, co-op), or an early career professional in a relevant technical discipline area. Knowledge of MS Office tools is also preferred.
