DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for Windchill customizations.
  • Design, develop, and implement custom Windchill solutions using the Windchill API, workflows, data structures, and user interfaces.
  • Write clean, efficient Java code for Windchill customizations, ensuring quality through unit testing.
  • Integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems using web services or other integration methods.
  • Monitor and facilitate activities for the development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Windchill projects.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within Windchill customizations, providing technical support to users.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering standard work, product change management, and data repositories to meet practitioner needs.
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.
  • Contribute to the execution of process improvements and manage the repository for process and system deliverables.
  • Interface and coordinate tasks with both internal and external business and technical resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate, plan, and execute implementation strategies.
  • Provide training for users and subject matter experts on system functionalities and usage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant STEM field.
  • Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & Experience:

  • 7 or more years of prior PLM development experience in the design, development, and customization of Windchill 11.x and above.
  • Proficiency in Java J2EE technologies, Spring, Hibernate framework, and Web Services.
  • Experience in Oracle, SQL, and database management.
  • Knowledge and experience with PTC Creo, Thingworx Navigate, and other PTC software is an advantage.
  • Experience in large-scale Windchill implementations and migration projects.
  • Solid knowledge of Windchill modules such as PartsLink, MPMLink, and Change Management.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and experience with Windchill API for customizations and integrations.
  • Extensive experience in Windchill Configuration, Customization, and Migration.
  • Proficient in creating and managing SQL queries, database procedures, and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, V-lookups, macros, and advanced charting.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage the full lifecycle of projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to apply logic and statistical analysis to address challenges.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer-service focused with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability to requirement changes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% for project needs.
