DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Coordinator leverages statistical analysis and collaborative planning to align supply with demand, determine optimal inventory levels, and maintain stability across the supply chain. This role involves planning, coordination with suppliers, cross-functional team collaboration, and the execution of continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
- Comply with all HSE standards, policies, and procedures; report any work-related injury, illness, or hazard.
- Participate in mandatory HSE training sessions to maintain a safe work environment.
- Quality and Documentation:
- Follow applicable standard work processes and quality procedures, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Perform quality checks on planning parameters, including inventory levels and reorder points, to support the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodology.
- Supply and Demand Planning:
- Conduct supply and demand analysis, identifying potential issues for the next 12 months and proactively making planning adjustments.
- Use simulation tools to analyze parameter setting changes and assess impact on key performance indicators (KPIs); provide detailed reporting on results.
- Monitor signals of abnormal demand or stock levels and adjust planning settings as approved.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage the disaggregated demand, supply, and inventory plans, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Use analytics to refine planning parameters and optimize inventory across the supply chain to achieve delivery, cost, and space targets.
- Oversee manual planning for projects where item master data may not yet be fully established.
- Supplier Coordination:
- Serve as the primary liaison for suppliers, ensuring part availability, monitoring schedules and shipments, and expediting as needed.
- Coordinate with transport and logistics teams for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Regularly engage with suppliers on performance reviews, capacity management, and process improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, quality, sourcing, and supply chain teams to mitigate supply challenges, propose alternatives, and ensure continuous supply.
- Coordinate with various teams for new project introductions, demand alignment, and critical supply issues.
- Maintain and share critical shortage information to ensure alignment on supply priorities.
- Inventory Control:
- Manage and control inventory to meet established KPIs, adjusting safety stock, excess and obsolete inventory, and lot sizes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including documentation for invoicing, procure-to-pay processes, and transport.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for supply chain optimization and participate in improvement initiatives to streamline operations.

- Materials KPI Management: Interprets and assesses KPIs to identify gaps and make improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Network Master Supply Planning: Uses statistical tools to align long-term supply with demand, balancing supply chain stability with financial and service objectives.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience (preferred); additional licensing may be required for compliance with export controls or sanctions.
Experience:
- Relevant work experience, demonstrating intermediate-level knowledge of supply chain functions obtained through training or on-the-job learning.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Sourcing Liaison and Inventory Management: Strong coordination skills in managing part availability, project orders, and new initiatives within sourcing and plant teams.
- Supplier Coordination: Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, monitor shipments, address supply constraints, and ensure timely delivery.
- Demand Planning and Forecast Adjustment: Skilled in monitoring demand signals, adjusting forecasts, and managing planning parameters to support accurate supply alignment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with technical sourcing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to mitigate challenges and maintain supply continuity.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Uses analytics and planning tools to optimize inventory levels, manage parameters, and drive improvement initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Engages in projects to streamline supply chain operations, supporting effective resource allocation and goal achievement.
