DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Supplier Quality Engineer - Casting Technical Advisor to join our team specializing in Quality for CORPORATE CATEGORIES SQE in EMEA region
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Enhancing Supplier Quality - Leverage your direct foundry experience to develop suppliers that consistently meet high-quality standards and customer requirements.
- Building Strong Relationships - Foster collaboration with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to drive quality improvements and business success.
- Driving Supplier Selection & Development - Utilize your deep manufacturing and product knowledge to lead the selection and development of suppliers for complex components.
- Optimizing Product Design - Work closely with engineering to ensure product designs are manufacturable, reducing defects and improving efficiency.
- Implementing Right-First-Time Manufacturing - Co-design robust manufacturing processes with suppliers that align with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Leading Zero-Defect Initiatives - Apply APQP, AIAG tools, and other methodologies to drive a zero-defect culture, mentoring both suppliers and internal teams.
- Driving Continuous Improvement - Utilize lean and Six Sigma techniques to lead high-impact quality and process improvement projects.
- Developing Supplier Quality Engineers - Mentor and build the capabilities of global Supplier Quality Engineers through training, advanced quality standards, and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to systematically analyze and resolve quality issues using industry-standard methodologies while mentoring others in effective problem resolution.
- Quality Influence & Leadership - Capability to engage stakeholders, navigate constructive conflicts, and drive decisions that balance business needs with quality priorities.
- Technical & Statistical Expertise - Proficiency in casting manufacturing processes, quality controls, and statistical tools to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Supplier Performance & Project Management - Experience in improving supplier performance through quality strategies, APQP execution, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Preferably 10 years of experience in a Quality or Engineering role within the foundry industry, including management roles, and the ability to identify complex casting issues and advise on how to address them. Knowledge of machining processes would also be an advantage.
- A valid driving license is preferred to enable travel to foundry sites within the region.
