Supervisor- Blockline
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Daventry, managing the daily activities of a production team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, here are some of the ways you will make an impact:
- Supervision of the daily activities of a production unit or teams.
- Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members housekeeping, and meeting production targets.
- Works cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments.
- Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities.
- Coaches and mentors team members. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Recognize areas in which processes can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce costs and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Examine HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting, and avoiding repeated incidents.
- Health and Safety Fundamentals: Champion and model proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting, and participating in actions to improve health and safety to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Supervisory experience in production/manufacturing environment.
- Previous solid experience in team management:
- Talent Development: Develop talent to meet both career goals and the organization's goals.
- Team Building: Build strong-identity teams that apply diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
- Effective Communication: Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Decision Quality and Directs Work: Provide direction, delegate, and remove obstacles to get work done.
- Work Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours as this would be a shift rotation role.
- Additional : Office/IT knowledge and exposure
You will be rewarded with:
- £35,000 - £38,400 (depending on experience)
