DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician - Level II (School-to-Work) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fridley, MN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensuring Safety : By promptly reporting hazards and complying with HSE standards, you'll help maintain a safe working environment for everyone.

  • Effective Use of Tools and Equipment : Selecting and using appropriate tools and machinery efficiently will support manufacturing needs and improve productivity.
  • Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement : Working with peers to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints and participating in continuous improvement activities will enhance processes and outcomes.
  • Effective Communication : Engaging with your team and support staff will foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:
  1. Applicants need to be a High School Student and enrolled in the STEP program
  2. Will work on Shop Floor and Functional Support Roles
  3. Part-Time FLEX position

Compensation:

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
