We are looking for a talented School to Work - Marketing ( Student ) to join our team specializing in Marketing and Communications for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Enhancing Promotional Programs: By assisting the marketing team with administering promotional programs, you'll help increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Boosting Digital Marketing Efforts: Supporting digital marketing activities, including eblasts and marketing automation initiatives (Salesforce/Pardot), to drive online engagement.
• Creating Compelling Marketing Content: Aiding in the development of product marketing content such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and other collateral.

• Meeting Sales and Customer Needs: Fulfilling various marketing requests from the sales team and customers.
• Organizing Successful Events: Coordinating materials and marketing collateral for tradeshows and customer events will contribute to the success of these events, showcasing the company's products and services effectively.
• Overseeing Project Tracker: Tracking and reporting on marketing budgets and open projects will ensure financial resources are used efficiently and projects stay on track.
• Improving Marketing Processes: Your involvement in various marketing activities will help streamline processes, making the marketing team more effective and agile.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• HTML Knowledge: A basic understanding of and/or interest in working with HTML will help you support digital marketing activities.
• Graphic Design Skills: Experience with graphic design programs like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop is a plus.
• Microsoft Office Proficiency: Being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) will enable you to efficiently handle various administrative and reporting tasks.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for developing marketing content and effectively collaborating with the team.
• Attention to Detail: Being detail-oriented with strong organizational skills will help you manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy in your work.
• Creativity: Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Team Collaboration: Working well with cross-functional teams will be crucial for fulfilling marketing requests.
• Adaptability: Being adaptable and open to learning new tools and techniques.
Education/Experience:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Compensation:
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The
final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's
qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
• The School To Work Marketing position will work closely with the aftermarket Product Marketing Manager to support daily activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization.
• The role involves providing administrative support, handling special assignments, and assisting in the development and maintenance of marketing-related materials.
• This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience through projects aligned with future career aspirations, under the mentorship of the Sr. Product Marketing Manager.
• Student must have the ability to work a minimum of 24 hours/week during the duration of the position.
This position is based in the Florence, Kentucky office and includes in-person duties. However, a hybrid work schedule is possible.
