DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Source to Pay Coordinator to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our SCS Order to Cash Department in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom.
Hybrid role will be required to attend the office for 60% of time for the first 6 months.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Develop and Apply Skills: Enhance your business process and project management skills within a specific area of business or technical specialty.
- Project Management: Manage small portions of well-defined projects, ensuring they stay on track and meet objectives.
- Support and Coordination: Provide essential administrative and logistics support to the project team and project manager.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, track, and collaborate with others to resolve project issues efficiently.
- Communication and Monitoring: Monitor project status and communicate updates to the project team, ensuring everyone is informed.
- Budget and Analytical Support: Assist with budget planning, tracking, research, and provide analytical support to inform project decisions.
- Risk Management: Help manage project risks by using quality tools to identify and mitigate areas of risk.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document and share team learnings with other teams, leveraging past experiences to enhance project success.
- Responsible for all team talent management activities, 1:1 meetings with direct reports at least once a month.
- Compile, report and share metrics with team and stakeholders monthly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Effective Issue and Risk Management: Utilize recommended tools and disciplines to identify, assess, and prioritize issues and risks. Take proactive actions to minimize, monitor, and control these risks and issues to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Resource Management Skills: Develop and manage resource plans, including expenses and headcount, using the appropriate project management tools and processes to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Schedule Management Expertise: Use schedule management tools and processes to manage the project timeline, ensuring that all tasks are completed within the agreed timeframe.
- Scope Management Proficiency: Maintain a clear list of project deliverables, ensuring that the project includes all necessary work and only the work required for successful completion, using the recommended project management tools and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- Ideally, candidates will have experience in purchasing and a continuous drive to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Proven experience in team management or relevant qualifications (such as ILM3 or ILM5) to support your leadership capabilities.
